When we were selected to work with Visit Dana Point earlier this year (the new Visitor’s & Destination Bureau in Dana Point), we inherited a lovely site whose inner workings weren’t so lovely. We had to make it easier to work with and much, much faster, for both my programming and content team as well as for the incoming prospects. It was time for a website rebuild.

The clients liked the look and feel of the site, so it was important to keep that in exact play, but we switched to a WordPress platform. Then, we brought on new business directories, calendar directories and restaurant directories, each free widgets in the WordPress community that prove to be so much faster tow work with, with a much cleaner and responsive result.

The site, with its directory pages, is more than 200 pages deep.
Time it took to rebuild? Four and a half weeks.
